Cash & Online Donations
We gladly accept all major credit cards, PayPal, checks, and cash.
Matching Gifts
Check to see if your company matches donations for non-profits. A matching gift is defined as a charitable donation by a corporation that matches an employee’s donation to an eligible nonprofit organization, most often dollar-for-dollar. Gesher is already set up with Benevity and CyberGrants. If your company uses another matching gift program and you want us to be included, please send us an invite or information on how we can be approved.
Ner Tamid Legacy Society
Ner Tamid, or Eternal Flame, is the driving force of Gesher’s Ner Tamid Legacy Society. Join our generous supporters choosing to dedicate a portion of their estate to Gesher and that will “light the way” for Gesher’s programs and services to assist the disability community into the future. Tax Credits
Gesher Disability Resources is a nonprofit disability agency, Tax ID 86-0626273. Gesher is also a Qualifying Charitable Organization (formerly known as the “Working Poor”).
QCOs are part of the state of Arizona’s Tax Credit Program. Making a donation to Gesher Disability Resources allows the donor to receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit when filing state taxes in the state of Arizona. Gesher’s QCO code is 20748.
Beginning in 2022, a cost-of-living increase was added to QCO giving, so limits change each year.
Appreciated Stocks
Donating stocks directly to a charity is one of the most tax-smart ways to give, yet it is not often understood or used wisely.
Why? Because donating stock directly to charity is one of the most tax-smart ways to give. Yet, it is often not well understood or widely used. According to a 2016 study by Fidelity Charitable, 80 percent of donors own appreciated assets, such as stocks, mutual funds or bonds, but only 21 percent of those donors have contributed these types of assets to charity.
Tribute Cards
Colleagues, friends, family and loved ones deserve to be honored and remembered. It is a mitzvah.
Do a double mitzvah by making a donation to Gesher in the name of someone close to you.
When you are on our donation form, under the “Tribute Box”, choose “In Honor Of” or “In Memory of”, then provide the message and who should receive the tribute card in the “Tribute Information” box, or you can e-mail the details to [email protected] letting us know who to honor/remember and where to send the card.
Gala & Fundraisers
Each year on the first Saturday of November, Gesher hosts the agency’s largest fundraiser. With a new theme each year, there is always fun to be had.
Throughout the year, Gesher supporters host small events gathering friends to learn about the agency’s services providing the opportunity for both brand raising and fundraising.
RMD's
Individuals 70.5+ can donate some or all of their IRA (RMD) Required Minimum Distribution, up to $108,000, directly to Gesher without having to pay income tax on the distribution.
Must be done by the end of the tax year (December 31)
Sweeter Together®
Wishing friends and family L’Shana Tova is great, but sending a gift jar of certified Kosher honey is even better! Gesher Disability Resources can help you accomplish both. Along with being a great gift, each jar of honey sold includes a tax deductible portion in the price that is a donation to Gesher.

Volunteering is a great way to help Gesher Disability Resources. Whether you have a few hours to give or want to serve on a planning committee, we invite you to share your time and talents for our members. Our agency offers volunteer opportunities to fit the needs of everyone.
Adult Social Groups & Community Outings
Do you like to socialize? Volunteering to spend time with our members is a great way to spend your weekend and make a difference in the lives of individuals.
Event/Fundraising Committee Member
Special Events help by raising money, raising awareness and generating good will. Help advance our mission by volunteering to become a committee member to help us plan and execute these important events.
In-Kind or Pro Bono
The donation of professional services goes a long way to help our bottom line. Are you a graphic designer with some free time? Does your company have an in-house print shop or recording studio? Are you a photographer or videographer who can help with print advertising and commercials? By donating your expertise, you’ll help us reach more families in need.
Office Help
Like any other agency, Gesher Disability Resources has many daily tasks to do. We rely on the extra set of hands volunteers can lend in preparing mailings and sorting educational materials. Are you a social media expert? Your help is always welcome too.
