FREE High Holy Days Resources

The next few weeks are some of the most important for our Jewish community, and everyone who wants to participate deserves that option. Our friends at “Gateways: Access to Jewish Education” out of Boston have put together a wonderful list of High Holiday Resources that are all FREE. From blessings with visual supports to social stories, there really is something for everyone.

Gesher Disability Resources is teaming up again with Temple Emanuel of Tempe, a Reform congregation in the East Valley, to offer sign language interpreters during High Holy Days this year.

“The High Holy Days are for everyone,” explained Dean Sh

apiro, Senior Rabbi of Temple Emanuel, “and everyone is welcome at Temple Emanuel. We are pleased to partner with Gesher Disability Resources to enable more people to feel the spirit of t’shuvah, the warmth of community, and the beauty of our Jewish traditions.”

Services are being held at Dayspring Church, 1365 E Elliot Rd, Tempe, AZ 85284.  Non-Member requested ticket donation is $125 per holiday, but scholarships are available. All are welcome and no one will be turned away. Please contact Gesher Disability Resources for ticket information and questions by calling Amy at 480-629-5343 or E-mail: amy@gesherdr.org

Monday, Sept. 10, 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

At the Flader Wealth Consulting Group, they understand the challenges that high-net-worth clients can face when searching for a financial advisor. You have unique problems and opportunities, and need a level of care and expertise that can be hard to find in a one-size-fits-all world. Flader Wealth Consulting Group can help. A national and state award-winning team with a pristine reputation, they serve clients by dedicating themselves to three core values – Service, Expertise, and Stewardship.

When Gesher Disability Resources (formerly Council For Jews With Special Needs) started receiving gifts back in the early 1990s from donor funds and then from fundraisers for the residential program, the agency turned to Flader Wealth Consulting Group, a family-run financial group, for help.
